May anybody make use of the CoWorxs facilities?
CoWorxs memership is open to anybody in need of temporary, medium or long term office and/or worksapce. CoWorxs workspaces are available to professionals, start-ups, casual visitors and even school children in need of a space to study. All members must adhere to our code of conduct at all times. The code of conduct is available for download on the T’s & C’s menu tab.
May clients or friends visit me at my workstation or office?
All CoWorxs members have access to the communal lounge area. Members with offices may receive guests in their offices. Members working at a dedicated desk or dedicated workstation may receive guests in the communal lounge area. Guests need to be accompanied by a CoWorxs member. Guests may become temporary members by simply purchasing a morning or full day voucher.
What happens during Loadshedding?
CoWorxs is not reliant on ESKOM electricity. A 15Kw solar system provides electricity when the power grid is down so no work will be lost during loadshedding.
Is Internet available?
Two 200 meg Herotel Fibre lines provide internet to the complex. A 15Kw solar system provides backup power during loadshedding so no work will be lost when the power grid goes down.
Who may book the Boardrooms ?
The Boardrooms are available to anybody in need of these facilities. By reserving the required boardroom, temporary CoWorxs membership is granted to such persons.
Is Food and refreshments available on site?
Plato Coffee is our in-house Coffee Shop and provides speciality Coffees and light meals. Groups making use of the Boardrooms have access to the deck areas at either the Arnold & Wessels Building or The Hub and may make use of these areas to enjoy their meals during breaks.
